Welcome to the new
Federated Works website and channel. While we were in the process of building various websites and software, we realized that it would be useful to put them all under one umbrella. As of today, that umbrella is called Federated Works.
Right now it is just a simple website that points to various related projects, such as
Neuhub and
Federated Hub, but our intent is to incorporate Federated Works as a public benefit corporation (PBC) with a stated (and legally-binding) public mission.
Our goal is to provide software and support for decentralized social media, the social web, and the indie web. We want to empower individuals, content creators, small businesses, and independent publishers by providing federated tools for communications, privacy, and e-commerce. We also want to encourage collaboration between developers, platforms, and communities, especially in regards to the fediverse and social web.
